Aegion agrees to go private; Seven other deals this week

One of our Predictions for 2021 was that at least one publicly traded industry firm would be taken private this year. Hurray for us! This week our headline deal is Aegion entering into an agreement to be acquired by affiliates of New Mountain Capital in a transaction valued at approximately $963 million. 1 prediction down – 20 to go!
