Wendell L. ‘Buddy’ Barnes grabs Engineer of the Year award
Wendell “Buddy” Barnes, whose career includes more than 50 years of contribution to engineering, has been selected as the 2018 Engineer of the Year, Houston Chapter by the National Society of Professional Engineers.
Barnes, senior vice president at Arcadis, is the principal in charge of several Houston-area water and Harris County infrastructure projects.
His career, which includes 20-plus years of service with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, ranges from 10 years with the City of Houston to 20 years with various engineering firms in the Houston market. Read more>
