Natick, MA (February 6, 2025) – Murfee Engineering Company (“MEC”), a Texas-based civil engineering firm specializing in water and wastewater, joined Consor, an engineering and consulting firm.
MEC brings to Consor highly complementary and deep expertise in planning, consulting, engineering design, and construction management for water and wastewater infrastructure, hydrology, erosion and sedimentation control, and land development projects.
“The addition of MEC will enable us to expand our robust planning and design resources on water and wastewater projects,” said Chris Rayasam, President and Chief Executive Officer of Consor. “Our firm provides innovative and effective solutions to our clients to address the challenges of aging water infrastructure, population growth, and climate impacts in Texas and beyond, and this combination aligns with our goal to keep communities supplied with vital resources. It will also allow us to offer more growth opportunities for our people.”
“We are incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished at MEC throughout our journey,” said George Murfee, President and Founder of MEC. “This combination represents a natural progression for our firm and an outstanding opportunity for our team and clients. We chose to join Consor because of our shared values, culture, and commitment to our clients and people.”
