MA (March 5, 2026) – GDS Associates, a leading power infrastructure consulting and advisory firm serving the U.S. electric utility industry, entered into a strategic partnership with Littlejohn & Co., a private investment firm headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Through this partnership, Littlejohn and GDS will invest in expanding the firm’s capabilities and pursuing complementary acquisitions to build a scaled platform that supports utilities across the full lifecycle of consulting, planning, engineering, and field services.
Headquartered in Marietta, Georgia, GDS has built a 40-year reputation as a trusted advisor to electric cooperatives, municipal utilities, and investor-owned utilities. The firm employs approximately 200 professionals across multiple offices in the United States and is widely recognized for its expertise in power supply planning, transmission and interconnection studies, load forecasting, and regulatory strategy.
