AG&E Acquires the Precast, Prestressed Design and Detailing Assets of McCluskey Engineering Corporation (MEC)

Natick, MA (July 14, 2025) – Updated Press Release: July 21, 2025: AG&E, a Dallas-based structural engineering firm serving the mission critical, aviation, and advanced manufacturing markets, acquired the precast, prestressed design and detailing assets of McCluskey Engineering Corporation (MEC) based in Naperville, Illinois.

This strategic move enhances AG&E’s capabilities in precast, prestressed services, and positions the firm for continued growth and innovation as the largest data center structural engineer in the United States.

As part of the acquisition, AG&E welcomes Doug Colclasure, PE, SE, Co-President of MEC, to the leadership team. Doug will continue to lead the new Naperville Office of AG&E as Executive Principal, further strengthening its expertise and commitment to client service.
