Natick, MA (October 8, 2025) – A&E Design, a multidisciplinary firm offering architecture, interiors, historic preservation, graphic design, branding, environmental design, and landscape architecture services, has merged with SMA Architecture + Design, an architecture and interior design firm.
The merger expands the new firm’s expertise across architecture, interior design, historic preservation, environmental graphic design, branding, landscape architecture, and construction project management. Together, A&E Design and SMA Architecture + Design bring complementary strengths in education, healthcare, commercial, military, hospitality, and residential design.
A&E Design and SMA Architecture + Design will unify under a shared brand that reflects their mission, values, and vision. Operating under the name A&E + SMA Design, the co-branded identity highlights each firm’s heritage while emphasizing their collaboration and integration.
The merger brings both teams together under one umbrella, combining experience, creativity, and energy. The executive team includes four leaders representing both legacy firms: Dusty Eaton, CEO; Tim Meldrum, COO; Brad Doll, CDO; and Jason Davis, CXO.
