Job Description
At Morrissey Goodale, our work is at the center of the deals and strategies that are transforming the built environment.
We are seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial professional who wants to play a direct role in shaping the future of AE firms. In this role, you will take on significant responsibility from day one — supporting and leading client engagements, strategy assignments, and financial consulting engagements. You’ll work directly with firm owners and executives, advising them on their most critical decisions in a client-facing capacity.
This is a role for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment, where no two projects are the same. You’ll be expected to juggle a varied and demanding workload, combining analytical horsepower with strong organizational and project-management skills. In return, you’ll have the opportunity to grow as fast as the firm is growing, develop deep AE industry expertise, and see your contributions reflected in tangible client outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Lead client engagements as the client’s primary point of contact, managing day-to-day communication, coordinating workstreams, and ensuring flawless execution.
- Engage in business development by meeting with prospective clients, supporting outreach, and preparing proposals that reflect Morrissey Goodale’s market leadership.
- Analyze, interpret, and present financial and operational data — translating complex information into insights for firm owners, investors, and industry stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver go-to-market strategies, and M&A deliverables such as teasers, CIMs, and management presentations.
- Prepare Board- and Executive-level presentations, ensuring recommendations are clear, actionable, and aligned with client objectives.
- Mentor and develop Analysts, providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities to accelerate their professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Must have superior verbal and written communication skills; ability to turn meeting notes into client-ready insights.
- Must be well organized and have superior project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience successfully leading client-facing engagements involving key business stakeholders.
- Business degree in business administration, finance, or accounting is preferred, master’s degree is a plus.
- 2-5 plus years experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Financial Advisory or Corporate Finance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI or similar financial and data analytical tools, Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- FINRA SIE, Series 63, & Series 79 preferred.
