CE Group joins LJA Engineering

Natick, MA (September 22, 2025) – CE Group, a multidisciplinary land development firm headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, has joined LJA Engineering, an engineering, planning, surveying, and environmental services firm. Nearly 40 CE Group employees will now become part of LJA’s nationwide team of professionals under the LJA brand.

The merger expands LJA’s presence in North Carolina, strengthening its ability to deliver comprehensive services and increasing capacity to serve both long-standing clients and new markets across the region.

Founded in 1998 by principals Mark Ashness, PE, ASLA, and Joe Faulkner, RLA, ASLA, CE Group has earned recognition for its land surveying, civil engineering, and landscape architecture expertise, supporting hundreds of successful projects throughout the state.
