The state has the eighth-largest freight railroad system and seven border crossing ports of entry in its extensive logistics network. The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development projects that the construction, health care, and transportation and warehousing industries will be experiencing the fastest employment growth in the state over the next year.
